Steak house
Hector was our server absolutely amazing the tuna appetizer! Along with the salmon entree and drinks! This place deserves 5 stars. The staff are so knowledgeable and respectful. My water was always refilled I didn’t even need to ask! Great place! My wife and I will be back soon!!! Thank you for your outstanding service!
Victory is consistently wonderful in every way. The service is fantastic. We have been fortunate to have Hector as our server every time we’ve dined, and he is fantastic. Knowledgeable, fun, and a joy to know. The food is excellent – whether it’s for dinner, brunch or apps at the bar. Olivia makes a wicked cocktail, too. She makes the fruit-infused mixers in the kitchen – everything is from scratch. You can’t go wrong with any of the entrees. The steaks are top-notch. The salmon is tender and juicy. Veggies are always fresh.
This place is absolutely awesome!! The service is incredible under the leadership of Harrison, a top notch Manager, aims to please each and every customer, and his staff who are super friendly and knowledgeable of the entire menu. The restaurant strictly follows Covid protocol. Now to the food….Wow! The food is simply Amazing. They start you off with the most amazing Thick sliced, grilled garlic bread!! Wow!! Then on to the apps…The Shrimp cocktail is the best you’ll have! The Jalapeño baked Oysters are delicious, the meatball app is also a must have!! All I ever order for my main course is the Brick Chicken as it is incredible and only found at Victory!! Savory, seasoned chicken cooked perfectly in a brick oven!!! The corn and Brussels sprouts are perfect sides!! This restaurant is must attend and I rate it an absolute must experience!! Way to go Victory!!
Wow just wow. We were in Elmhurst for the evening from Downtown. Absolutely blown away at how fresh and delicious everything was. Get the brick chicken! Oysters were fantastic so was the wedge salad (Brick chicken is a hidden/not so hidden gem)
I literally have no complaints and cannot wait to return! Olivia was so amazing! She’s one of the best mixologist I’ve ever encountered. So accommodating! She substituted items for our meals and took pictures to help us celebrate my moms birthday! Her cucumber vodka is delicious; she makes it herself! She had us tasting all type of drinks she was mixing up! I can’t wait to return! Food was amazing! The chef is great! See pictures!
All I’m going to say is “Brick Chicken”. I’ve been a few times over last couple of years and have had a good experience every time but the brick chicken dish is the equal to the old Canella’s Chicken Vesuvio back when they were open on Grand in Chicago. My wife had salmon and said it was really good as well. From past experience, the bone in pork chop is top notch as well.
3.5 stars, all things considered. Had heard mixed reviews before my very first visit to Victory. Some were rave reviews, other opinions weren’t as positive – many folks said it’s way overpriced. This is the burbs after all. Anyhow, went with a group of 5 other buddies (fellow dads) on a beautiful Sat evening, during March Madness I might add. It was packed. Cool atmosphere overall, though a tight squeeze on that particular night. Had an optimal table to watch the NCAA tourney games. Initial service was prompt and our first round drinks arrived in a timely manner, that particular round anyway. Then things began to take a turn for the worse. The subsequent drink rounds were all over the place. The server forgot about our table for a while, then made up for it by bringing us round after round of stiff drinks, without us even ordering more. Ok, not complaining per se, but we def got pretty tanked. Thankfully a few apps saved us. The calamari was tasty and the raw oysters were pretty good as well (Victory advertises to be an oyster bar btw). But all the while, our main course dishes took absolutely forever to arrive, as in well over a 1.5 hour wait! When the steaks and fish finally arrived, they might as well have been pizza bagel bites as we simply needed sustenance to soak up all that booze, much of which we didn’t even order. Suppose any food would have sufficed by that time. But in all fairness, despite being hammered, the food was very good. Kudos to Victory for that. But then, after sobering up the next day, turns out Victory overcharged the entire group. Not cool. We weren’t THAT wasted. I still plan to give Victory another chance, but clearly some room for improvement.
Hector was our server and was outstanding, so was the manager Harrison. We arrived early and they did not hesitate to get us seated and start us off with some cocktails. The food was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Based on what I tried: Tuna appetizer A+ Lobster Pasta A Veal on the bone A+ Taramisu A+ Martinis A Coffee A We’ll be heading back for Xmas Eve., we even switched our reservation to come here due to the exceptional service and food that we had the other night. Ty so much!
I thoroughly enjoyed this spot. Small but expansive with the extra room next door. Love that I can get a quality seafood dinner in downtown Elmhurst. Friendly folks, good service. My gurl noticed all male servers. They were spot on with attention and handling all the “small things” that made us feel valued. My gurl ordered the lamb and I ordered the Seabass…..lamb was nicely charred …… interesting pairing with fries…..but fries were fried perfectly…. Can you mess up fries YEP!!! lol The Chilean Seabass was wonderfully done. Moist, nice portion on top of broccoli….worth every penny to me.
The whole experience was a Five from the moment I made the reservation to the moment we left after 9:00pm. My party of 8, then 10, final count 13 was not the easiest to please. Michelle Anne was extremely helpful as while I changed reservations several times. Lots of patience. Our server was knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was very good. I shared raw oysters (East and west coast) with my son and the Chilean Sea Bass with my husband. Loved oysters with a good martini and the main course was delicious served with excellent orzo side Everyone was very pleased their selections and we had a great time celebrating my son’s birthday. To top it all the restaurant treated the Birthday boy with a delicious serving of cake
