Timothy O’Toole’s Pub Chicago

I come here about once or twice a year in January for the past 6 years. The menu is pretty decent and we always receive great service. Some favorites are the fish and chips, macaroni and cheese and any of their salads. They have a great beer selection also! One of my favorite beers is on the menu, Allagash White.

Delicious!!! Great service lively atmosphere. So glad our hotel recommended this restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

I came here a few months ago with a friend to play a game of pool. The tables are spaced properly and well maintained. We had some beer and things were priced appropriately. The food was pretty good. Service was friendly. A good spot to have discovered. I will be back when looking to shoot a game of pool soon.

Ordered some food via grubhub, and we all know that food delivered doesn’t taste as good , but I think regardless of that the food wasn’t great. It’s your typical over priced bar food because of the location . The fried chicken sandwich was really weak – who only puts cheese and honey mustard on a sandwich? The best part about the entire meal was the tater tots, they know how to fry up a decent tater tot.

My wife and I found this place last year because it was close to our hotel. This year, we made the long walk because of our experience last year. O’Tooles is definitely a funny lively place to drink, eat and people watch. The place is packed and the Tater Tot Poutine is amazing. Reasonable prices and a huge selection of food and drinks. We made a special Uber to O’Tooles after leaving a comedy show. I knew I would not be able to live with myself if we did not come in for the Poutine and a few Crown and Cokes. Definitely worth the Uber trip. September 2, 2020- The end of our Boneless Wing Basket. Add the garlic and parm to your fries and you have a killer combo when ordering. Had Allagash White drafts which is a solid beer. My wife drank Rum and Coke. We both ate of the basket as it was a lot of food plus I was more interested in the mug! One of our favorite spots when visiting Chicago. See you in December!!!

This place was on my list of happy hours I want to hit before it gets cold out again. Stopped in with some friends after leaving work at the hospital and man were we glad we did. They have an EXTENSIVE happy hour menu full of food and drinks. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and order the soft pretzel bites. They’re to die for with the mustard options and IPA cheese sauce! They have a special drink called holy water which is a “mixture of lots of alcohol and lots of juice” that’ll sweep you under the table if you aren’t careful. This is my new happy hour hot spot!

Nicely sauced BBQ Wings with delivery from Grub Hub recently! I asked for extra carrots and celery and blue cheese! Yay!!! Juicy wings-I think you have to be my favorite wings in the City! Thank you for making my evening!

This spot has great wings and a great beer list. Wish I could have gone a few times before COVID-19 to see the basement bar, but the new normal will have to do. I plan to be back often to try out other menu items, but boneless wings were flavorful, meaty, and filling! Keep it up!

The glasses I received my drinks in were all dirty glasses. When I mentioned this to the manager he didn’t even utter any type of apology. I wasn’t asking to get anything comped just was pointing out how gross it was that my glasses had fingerprints, and lipstick stains. Will never come here again.

We make it to this place every time we come to Chicago. Very cool underground bar with good bar food. The staff is not the nicest but they can turn drinks quickly on a busy night. Very chill vibe with pool tables and darts.
