This place is awesome!! Such great food!! So happy we went here! The Cuban sandwich was amazing and the plantains were out of this world! Highly recommend!

The food at this place has changed so much. I’ve gone back 3 times after they closed and reopened under new management. All 3 times were just not worth it. The sandwich lechón was really really dry even after I asked for extra mojo juice. The Cuban sandwich was more like a ham and cheese sandwich because of the dry lechón which I had to take out. Btw it wasn’t a huge chunk on the sides of the Cuban sandwich. Also ordered croquetas and that was not right. It was way soggier then it’s suppose to be and it had an odd taste, I don’t know maybe too much vinegar. The only thing different from my order was the cafe con leche. I’m sorry but this señor pan is not what it use to be. In my opinion I’m not recommending this place. It’s just meh.

Solid restaurant. Service can be a little hit or miss, mostly hit. The Lechon Asado is good, as is the Ropa Vieja. But if you want something that is lights out you have to get the Masitas De Puerco Fritas! It is so, so, good. Nice and salty and porky. A nice cafe con leche to wash it down.

We live a few steps away from this place and it’s never failed us. We enjoy the convenience of walking over here for pickup. The food is always good.

Fast and hot! I order in the phone and at my arrival had the most upbeat and amazing cashier who got me the best coffee ever! Thank you for the greatest brunch I really needed a break from my own cooking lol Cuban sandwich for the win!!!!!

So first time back since new owners took over and unfortunately I’m not impressed. Ordered steak sandwich with avocado and Swiss cheese and an order of croquettas with dipping sauce. The steak in sandwich was somewhat cOld and no grilled onions. As for the ham croquettes the sauce was sour aNd had an unpleasant vinegar taste. Went to bathroom and had graffitiing on mirror and soap was waTered down. I also noticed every picture on the walls were crooked Im giving them 3 stars because our server Cassandra never looked away rather always looked towards all tables and was super pleasant and attentive I should add she was super overworked and the only server.

Food its okay, i guess i have had bad luck , i order a steak sandwich with almost no meat. Service is good most of the servers are nice

*pre covid review* This lovely Cuban Cafe was right around the corner from our Airbnb last summer and we decided to check it out. I ordered bistec encebollado with a café con leche and my BF ordered Pan con Tortilla de Jamon y Queso. We were in heaven when our food arrived. Everything smelled and looked amazing. We dug in and we knew we had discovered something dangerously delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly and the rice that came in the side was to die for. The fries on the side were also pretty tasty on their own. My BF was silent as he ate and I knew that meant he was too busy enjoying his food to tell me how good it was. A definite highlight for me though was the cafe con leche. It was rich, sweet, creamy and hot and just felt like the perfect drink to start my morning. I cannot wait for the next time we get to come here! Highly recommend.

So, I was looking up Cuban restaurants to check out in the city/Logan Square area. And, Señor Pan popped up. I went. Let me say this, being a Cuban from Miami…the food was PHENOMENAL! I had some plantains, croquettas, a batido de mamey, two sandwiches(croquetta and Cubano), and then a slice of flan. I can say that I’ll definitely be back for some more food!

Amazing all around! Friendly staff and great food! We will be back! Great to know there is such great food in the neighborhood. The sandwiches are fantastic, the bread is out of this world. Make sure to try the bread! (New ownership update) they have raised prices and lowered quality. I’ve eaten here twice since the new owners took over and the Bistca sandwich is $8 and has one slice of beef on it. It has happened twice now and since it was carry out I couldn’t complain. I’m just done eating here.
