Middle Eastern restaurant
Greek-inspired provisions offered in a low-key, wood-trimmed diner, with an airy hookah lounge.
Great service. Unlike other restaurants “speak to you waitress” everyone worked together. Delicious food. Great long lasting hookah (with disposable hoses AND Coco charcoal). definitely a place I’d recommend everyone to come to.
Love this place. Food is really good and prices are fair. Neighboring restaurants can be quite expensive so one can appreciate the value here.
One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Chicagoland…… Steak kabobs …Chicken kabobs….Rice and Roasted vegetables….Hummus..
This was a solid lunch spot with a great lunch special. After being promptly seated, I was brought out a chilled bottle of water. Not sure if this is the norm but certainly a nice touch (sans the whole plastic debate). I got the mixed platter with salad and subbed out the rice for more salad. Salad and dressing was very good and had cherry tomatoes, green pepper and cucumber. The platter itself had chicken tawook (kebab) and kefta kebab along with 2 falafel. The falafel was crunchy from the outside and moist inside. The kebabs were well seasoned and I enjoyed them very much. They have a variety of other things on the menu that I look forward to being back and trying.
Recently, an appreciative customer at the bank I work had Fattoush catered for lunch as a ‘Thank you.’ The food was fantastic! It was a spread of dips, salad, and kabobs with grilled tomatoes and onions. The rice was cooked perfectly and flavorfully without being over-seasoned. We enjoyed chicken, filet, and kufta kabobs. All too were deliciously seasoned and cooked to a very tender doneness. As much as I love filet mignon, the chicken was a huge standout among the staff, including me. I was so blow away by the quality of food that I hired them to cater my birthday party three weeks later. I worked with Ahmad and he steered me through the options, cost, and my special requests efficiently. My 10 guests were all raving (literally) about the food and where did it come from! I don’t have pictures, but rest assured, all looked extremely appetizing and fresh. Speaking of fresh, the Fattoush salad was a mix of beautiful, vibrant greens with oil and vinegar herbed dressings that could be bottled and sold separately! Finally, the value! For under $250 I easily fed 10 people (2-3 servings too), sent many home with leftovers, and had leftovers myself. We enjoyed filet, chicken, rice, veggies, hummus, pita, salad, dressings, and falafel. For no muss no fuss catering, this is a no-brainer! Okay, praise out of the way, I do have a few constructive criticisms, though none were enough to deter me from five stars: 1. I was asked to text my address and party time to a number I didn’t see associated with the site. I would’ve preferred talking directly to a person, but all was well. 2. The food came early. I called the morning of and asked if it could be delayed as a couple of guests were going to be late. He hesitated a moment but said he’d do what he could. Rather than coming as scheduled/later, it came about a half hour early. I assume he misunderstood my request and thought he did right by me. Even cooled, the food was still delicious! (: 3. I wasn’t sure when I was supposed to pay. We spoke a few times but he never asked for payment or set the expectation. The morning of my party when I called to try and delay the delivery, I asked if they could take my card number over the phone. They agreed. 4. I proactively requested flatware. It’s unclear if this would’ve been included automatically, so ask for it just in case!
Probably the best middle eastern cuisine in Chicagoland area. Their food is delicious. Perfectly made shish tawook (chicken kabobs) but a little spicy for my taste. The chicken tikka is fabulous. Their catering is fantastic! Their chef is very creative with all kids of meats and seafood. This restaurant supports their community! Only down side is their wait staff but we have bypassed this by using their take out and catering. Definitely the best place to go for Middle East cuisine and more!
This place is great, wow. This is a Mediterranean style restaurant with very authentic food. Everything is good here, just explore the menu. If you can’t pronounce it, that means it good. I got the Choose your own platter with Tilapia and Chicken Shawerma. The Red Rice and roasted vegetables goes great with the pita. Get the hummus as well. Man there was so much food on the table it was amazing. I was stuffed but the dessert menu looked amazing as well. I was just too full. Parking here is rough. If you can try to find somewhere down by one of the gas stations and just walk to the place. Also there’s no alcohol served here.
Wow amazing food and service Never been so satisfied Will come back Food was so fresh and flavorful Can’t wait to order for a party
Excellent customer service and probably the best middle eastern food in the area. Tabbouleh was excellent, Kabab perfect! Fattoush was not bad as a side, and shawarma sandwich was very good. It feels like you are at an old Lebanese restaurant.
Their salad, side dishes, and appetizers are bomb but their meat and chicken is trash. Sorry
