This is my “Diamond in the Rough” rating. Went here for a Saturday lunch (on the recommendation of Yelp) and can tell you it is now a place I will visit again…and again. Hats off the Chef Ben and his crew. The service was highly attentive from both the bar and kitchen. The cheese curds would make any Wisconsinite proud (and jealous.) I mean…lordy. Thinly coated enough to be so damn crispy on the outside and luciously melty on the inside. I could have eaten those all day long. I’m a wings guy and the buffalo wings Chef Ben served (he personally delivered them to the table, btw) were undeniably some of the best I’ve ever had. HUGE. They were like drumsticks. And CRISPY. What?!? Wings with sauce that are crispy?!? Yep. Perfect amount of heat too. I would eat those all day long too if I weren’t already eating the cheese curds all day long. Thank you for making bar food more than something that goes right from the freezer into the frier.

The burger rules. All the food I have tried is awesome. The staff are kind and efficient. The beer is cold and strong.

I have had the yelp ap on my phone for years and have only been inclined to Review like 2 other businesses over the past 10 years or so, ha…. But since my husband and I cannot stop talking about how great our visit was last night, I figured I had to take a moment to declare: THIS PLACE IS EVERYTHING!!! Amazing, nostalgic bar with thoughtful rehabbing to make it both comfortable and modern, yet reminiscent of old school, neighborhood bars from yesteryear. Our server Justin was friendly and informative when ordering and was attentive throughout the night. The food- we ordered cheese curds, fish tacos and wings. 5 stars for everything. The show stealer of the night though was the cocktails and carrot cake. Yes, you read that correctly. Homemade carrot cake that we ordered to go. Definitely the best carrot cake I’ve ever tried and potentially the best cake In general I’ve ever had. Oh and yes, the cocktails were crafted with care and went down beautifully!!! I am so envious of the Dunning residents, as my husband and I live only 1-2 neighborhoods away and would kill to have a local spot like this. Can’t wait to visit again.

Driven by this spot 100xs and today I was looking for a good spot with good food so i checked on this site for recommendations. I was definitely not disappointed. Erika was our server and bartender. Never felt forgotten. She stopped by enough to make sure we were good. The food was absolutely fresh. We started with the guac, pico and chips. Very delish. I ordered the po’boy shrimp and it was definitely good! Excellent size shrimp seasoned perfectly. My friend ordered the 3 tacos. She said the meat was tender and not skimpy. I will definitely be going back to try other things on menu.

This place is great and the po’boy is AMAZING. I had to order another to go after trying it. Definitely recommend.

What can I say that hasn’t already been stated? Fantastic beer list, amazing and friendly staff, and FANTASTIC food. Im not going to put this lightly, because all should know. The menu has recognizable favorites that are elevated to a level that others can’t touch. I am fortunate to call DPH my local bar. Go to here.

Ok. This place has ALL 5 star reviews. That alone speaks for itself I ordered delivery tonight. I got the fish tacos and the hubby a cheeseburger THESE TACOS ARE AMAAAAAAZING. Hubby liked his cheeseburger. My first time ordering here, DUNNING POUR HOUSE, YOU HAVE A HAPPY FUTURE REPEAT CUSTOMER! 🙂

So glad I found this neighborhood bar! I’ve been craving for some good nachos and thanks to Yelp, we landed on Dunning Pour House! The Sheet pan Nacho is exactly what I was craving for. I wanted a loaded nachos with crispy chips. Look at the topping of this nacho! The Pour House Burger was also so delicious especially with the fried egg. We cut the burger in half to share and you know…. the egg porn when you see it the yolk drizzle. This was my kind of burger with the sauce, dill pickle, and cheese. Definitely not a dry (no flavor) burger that I’ve gotta load up with ketchup. Service was OUTSTANDING! We were welcomed and checked on from time to time. We’ll be back!

I would wanna give 6 stars if I could!! We love it here , have been trying so many different menu and everything is delicious! Not your regular bar food! They are amazing! We love wings, both sweet and spicy bbq, I love the chicken bbq salad here I know pls don’t judge me it s SO good tho. My husband always gets the burger but he tried the cod sandwich on special and the corned beef and were all far from disappointment. Shout out for our server tonight he is so great, attentive, professional and friendly. Too bad we forgot to ask for his name, we came on Friday evening he is killing it with the full house.
