Chitown Chicken

Since I’ve been living in the neighborhood I have been here about 7-8 times and every time it’s on point! Seem questionable I know from the area display, but the food is always fresh and hot, seafood etc. The fried food isn’t greasy or tastes like recycled grease always fresh and fries fresh. Never super packed so food time less than 20mins. I recommend the Chicken wings, Gyro, Chicken Pita (my fav) shrimp is good, and my fav jalapeño poppers (ask for cream cheese or you will get nacho cheese inside) Other than putting your own mild sauce (which isn’t original Chicago mild sauce it’s a homemade sweet hickory mild bbq sauce which is delicious) on your food it’s self after you get your food which sometimes I just want to order grab my food and bounce. Instead I have to take my containers out and add salt&pepper, lemon pepper mild sauce or hot sauce this place is safe go to for simple food.

Been meaning to leave a review. Food was made to order so it was hot and fresh and the server who took my order was nice, courteous and helpful. Will be going back when I get to Chicago in July.
